Dr. Helmut Marko put Scott Kin Lindblom in an F3 car at Estoril

Scott Kin Lindblom was invited by the Red Bull Junior Team to Estoril to set the benchmark for new aspiring Red Bull Junior Drivers at Estoril Circuit in Portugal, under the supervision of Dr Helmut Marko and Guillaume ”Rocky” Rocquelin of the Red Bull Junior Team.

 Estoril Circuit in Portugal was this years´ venue for the Red Bull Driver Search, where hand picked racing talents participate in a shoot out style test to see if they have what it takes to climb the ladder to the pinnacle of motorsport. At the second day of the event, Dr. Marko put already selected Red Bull Junior Team Driver Scott Kin Lindblom in an F3 car, and the young Swedish driver shone directly straight out the box.
– I was invited by Dr Marko and Rocky for F4 testing to set a benchmark, but on the second day they transferred me to the F3 squad. All went very well and beyond expectations. It feels great to get the feeling of what´s coming, it was pretty good birthday there in Portugal, says Scott who turned 15 on August 5.

The newly turned 15-year-old Scott Kin Lindblom is one of Sweden’s most promising junior racing talents. He has been selected by the Red Bull Junior Team, operated by Formula 1 outfit Red Bull Racing, and is the youngest driver ever to join the Swedish National Junior Team. In 2023, Lindblom secured the bronze medal at the FIA Karting World Championship. Scott Kin Lindbloms sights are firmly set on reaching Formula 1.
