P3 and Hat-Trick in Podiums!

Tight racing and a fierce chase for points was what the crowd at Donington Park got to witness on Sunday. Scott Kin Lindblom started from P3 and crossed the line in P3 – closing the 2025 Ginetta Junior Championship season with three podiums out of three possible during the final weekend.

Scott’s start from P3, despite finishing P2 in Race 2, was due to a one-place grid penalty for “gaining an advantage” after running wide to avoid the tyre stacks at the chicane.

– It is what it is – of course I would have preferred to start P2 in the last race, said Scott.

The first race of the weekend on Saturday was eventful. Starting from P7, Scott charged his way up the field to P3 through a series of bold overtakes and wheel-to-wheel battles.

– There were some really hairy moments in that race – I’m just glad we made it through and finished on the podium, Scott commented.

Race 2 turned into a tough battle within the leading pack of four cars, with constant position changes and plenty of side-by-side action – mainly between Scott Kin Lindblom and Fred Green at the front, while Jarret Clark and Colin Cronin were right behind fighting for maximum points.

– There was a lot of trading paint and overtaking – hard but mostly fair racing, said Scott.

Across the 2025 season, Scott Kin Lindblom stood on the podium nine times, finishing fourth overall in the championship – just five points shy of the bronze medal position.

– I want to thank everyone who made this possible – first of all Red Bull and the Red Bull Junior Team, my team R Racing, my driver coach Colin Turkington, and everyone back home who supports me. Thank you!

What’s next?

– Top secret. Soon to be revealed.
