F4 Debut in Saudi Arabia!

15-year-old racing talent Scott Kin Lindblom from Falun, Sweden, is set to make his Formula 4 debut. The first round takes place at Bahrain International Circuit this coming weekend, October 10–12, featuring two races.

– It’s going to be really interesting to see where we stand in race conditions, says Scott Kin Lindblom.

Lindblom wrapped up his Ginetta Junior Championship season in the UK with three podium finishes at Donington Park last weekend. After a quick stop back home in Vika, outside Falun, he’s now heading to Bahrain for his first-ever Formula 4 race weekend.

– I’ve tested F4 cars a few times during the summer, but you need to be 15 to compete – and I turned 15 in August. I’m really looking forward to seeing how I stack up against the competition in this series, says Scott.

In August 2024, Scott Kin Lindblom was selected to join the Red Bull Junior Team, following major success in karting. Throughout the 2025 season, he has competed in the Ginetta Junior Championship, known as the perfect transition between karting and single-seater racing.
In August 2025, he was once again invited to the Red Bull Driver Search at Estoril, Portugal, where Dr. Helmut Marko from Red Bull Racing gave him the opportunity to test the next step – Formula 3.

– That was great! Driving a faster car is definitely more physically demanding, but so much fun, says Scott.

The F4 Saudi Arabian Championship consists of five rounds, held in October and November on the Formula 1 circuits of Bahrain and Jeddah. It is still undecided how many races Scott Kin Lindblom will take part in.

– Red Bull decides where and what I race, so we’ll just have to wait and see, says Scott.

The cars used in this championship are Tatuus F4-T421 powered by Autotecnica engines.
Each car weighs 570 kg including the driver, and the 1.4-litre turbo engine produces 185 horsepower, paired with a six-speed sequential gearbox.

– These first two rounds will be about learning – new car, new tracks, and a new championship. I think there are some really fast drivers entered as well, so it’s going to be both exciting and challenging, says Scott.
