First F4 PODIUM! P2 at Bahrain
Scott Kin Lindblom takes his first ever F4 podium at Bahrain International Circuit today!
– I did a pretty solid race. Safety car came out on lap five, that made it a bit harder, but I kept my head down and controlled P2, Scott says.
This mornings qualifying got the 15-year-old from Sweden starting position 2 on the grid, and when the lights went out he made a good start chasing the leader. After a few laps the distance to the chasing pack was more than three seconds, and then the safety car came out.
– These are my first races in F4, of course the results count, but we are here to learn. I´m happy with my race craft, today especially with qualifying. I got a perfect push lap, which is really important because the tyres are worn out fast here, so there are no second chances in quali, Scott says.
The second race of Round 2 of the F4 Saudi Arabian Championship is tomorrow, October 16. All races are broadcasted live on Youtube, links below to follow Scott Kin Lindblom.
