PODIUM! P3 in Jeddah Race 1

Swedish Red Bull Junior Driver Scott Kin Lindblom, 15, claimed P3 on the street course Jeddah Corniche Circuit.
Started P4 and chasing for second all through the race.
– It was great fun! Fantastic track, really fast and cool to race!, Scott says.

The start of Race 1 under the lights of Jeddah was close to interesting. Multiple cars stalled, nearly causing havoc in the rear of the field. among them P3-sitter next to Scott, in P4, allowing top 3 a bit of a head start.

–            I got off the line quite okay and focused on doing my job. It was great fun to race under the lights of Jeddah. The track is really fast and the concrete walls are close, Scott says.

 On lap 10 out of 12 Scott managed to close in on P2-sitter Kit Belovsky, but didn´t find the opportunity to overtake.

–            There´s more racing to come tomorrow, says Scott, I´m happy for the podium. I got a bit airborne hitting a kerb on lap one, so lost contact at first with P2, but managed to get close n the end, Scott says.

–            Quali was okay, but I lost out front row when I hit the wall on the best push lap. It´s quite hard to overtake here, and there is no room for mistakes on a track like this, so we´ll go for more points tomorrow, Scott says.
