Scott Kin Lindblom to race at the F1 Finale at Yas Marina!

Red Bull Junior driver Scott Kin Lindblom first race for Hitech this weekend in new series: Formula Trophy Middle East.
New team, new series – and with a twist: Round 2 is run as a support race to the Formula 1 season finale at Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi!
– It’s going to be exciting to race during the F1 finale in Abu Dhabi on december 5-7. I don’t really have any expectations yet as I’m not entirely sure what to expect, but one thing is certain – I’ll be pushing hard to fight at the front, Scott says.

Scott will unfortunately miss the final round of the Saudi Arabian F4 Championship due to the clash with the F1 weekend, but sees the opportunity as a major step:
– It will be spectacular to race alongside Formula 1 and see how everything operates at that level,” Scott adds.

First things first though: Premiere race for Hitech in the new series is this weekend – november 28-30 at Dubai Autodrome.

Preview - Round 1 - Dubai Autodrome

Hitech set for Formula Trophy in the Middle East.

Hitech returns to action this week as the team head to the Middle East for the opening round of the F4 Formula Trophy. This new, three-event series is designed to give teams and drivers valuable mileage ahead of the 2025 Formula 4 UAE Trophy in the New Year.

The mini-series features seven races across two iconic venues, beginning at the Dubai Autodrome on November 28-30. Hitech will field two 15-year-old talents who are continuing to make their transition to single-seaters. Sweden’s Scott Kin Lindblom races alongside British-UAE racer Theo Palmer, who grew up a short drive from the Dubai circuit.

Scott joins the team as a Red Bull Junior Team driver and one of Scandinavia’s most exciting prospects. After an impressive rookie campaign in Ginetta Juniors, he has already shown strong pace in the F4 Saudi Arabia Championship this autumn, taking five podiums and a race win.
– I’m really excited to get started with Hitech and it’s a great opportunity to learn new circuits in a Formula 4 car with a new team. I’ve already had some experience racing this spec F4 car in the Middle East, so I’m looking forward to running at different tracks and getting more mileage in the car, Scott says.

The Formula Trophy continues the following week at Yas Marina Circuit as part of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix support bill, before returning to Yas Marina for the season finale alongside the Gulf 12 Hours.

Run with the latest Tatuus F4 T421 GEN2 machinery, there will be a test day in Dubai this Friday before the competitive action gets underway. The Dubai round will feature three races, with Race 2 using a partially reversed grid for the top eight finishers from the opener. All races are set for 25 minutes plus one lap, with points awarded towards the Overall Championship, Rookie Cup and Teams’ Championship.

For Hitech, the series offers us a valuable early read on our 2026 British F4 line-up. Theo Palmer arrives after a promising half-season in British F4, having started out at the Dubai Autodrome Karting Academy before progressing through the UAE karting ranks.
– Racing at Dubai and Yas Marina feels like coming home for me, so to start this new journey with Hitech here is really special. I learned a huge amount during my British F4 debut this year and this series is the perfect chance to put that experience to work on new circuits, Palmer says.
