Race 1 – Tough luck and hard learnings
Starting P10 Scott got a great start claiming P8 and charging for more.
Safety Car in lap 1 collected the field and Scott fought in a pack battling for P5.
P8 over the finish line but demoted to P11 after a 5 sec penalty.
– Not the start I wanted of course, but two more races tomorrow so room for improvement, Scott says.
Qualifying P10 for race 1 due to some issues this morning, that was sorted and got P6 in Q 2 – which gives the starting order for Race 3.
What makes the 5 sec penalty and demotion from P8 to P11 extra bad is that for tomorrows race 2 the starting grid is reversed from P8 to P1.
– I look forward to the coming two races to learn and develop, Scott says.
Race 1 ”winner” got a 10 sec penalty after the race and was demoted to P6.
