Overtaking frenzy at Yas Marina Circuit – up to P4!

From P9 to P4 in race 2.
In race 2 at Yas Marina Circuit on Sunday morning Scott Kin Lindblom started P7.
– I was P8-9 in to turn 1, then just attack mode and picking one by one up to P4, Scott says.

 The start of race 2, round 2 of the UAE F4 Trophy was a bit tentative for the 15-year-old swedish Red Bull Junior Driver Scott Kin Lindblom from Falun. But he quickly found his pace and started the climb up the positions on the 5.281 km (3.281 mi) long F1 track.
– I had a great car and good speed, I was forced off twice and it was an exciting hectic race. We are back here again next weekend for the last round of the F4 Trophy and I am really looking forward to it.
– Big applause to Hitech and the crew for giving me such a good car!, Scott says.

Yesterdays race – the first of Round 2 which is run as a support class for the F1 Finals at Yas Marina, Abu Dhabi – turned into an overtaking paradise for Scott Kin Lindblom.
Scott went from P28 to P8 over the finish line. New car, different bite of the clutch looked to have ruined the day when the car bogged down in the start – but instead it became one of the most action filled races in Scotts career, overtaking 20 cars in 25 laps.
– What a race! I stalled the car in the start for the first time in my life. I was dead last in to T1. Attack mode on and passed 20 cars on the way to checkered flag and P8.

 Unfortunately Scott was struck with a 10 second time penalty after the race, and demoted to P16 in Race 1.
