From P38 to P6 at Yas Marina!

Scott Kin Lindblom stormed through the field in his Red Bull-liveried Hitech car – going from absolutely last on the grid to P6 over the finish line!
This was great practice! Of course I´d rather win, but overtaking is fun. Lot´s of tough competition in this series, so I´m really happy with the result, Scott says.

Race 3 – From P38 to P6
28 minutes plus one lap – that´s how long it takes to overtake 32 cars.
Can we take a bow to Scott Kin Lindblom, starting P38 and now in P17 with a SC period, the live TV commentator said in the middle of the race.

And it did not stop there. Scott Kin Lindblom kept going. From P38 to P14 in 5 laps. To P12 in 7 laps and to P6 over the finish line! And this in spite of two safety car periods.
It’s been an intense race weekend with the first race yesterday from P38 to P14 and the last race today from P38 to P6. Not the optimal starting positions, but very challenging and good practice. The car, me and the team feel fully integrated. Now some rest and back again next weekend for more!, Scott says.

Race 2 – From P14 to P8
The second race of the UAE4:s first round had a reversed starting order from P1 to 12, and since Scott finished P14 in race that was also his starting position. He gained positions from P14 to P8 during the chaotic race with three Safety Cars deployed plus a red flag.
– We got only three full race laps, so I´m satisified with six positions gained, Scott says

Race 1 – From P38 to P14
Overtaking frenzy at Yas Marina for 15-year old Red Bull Junior Hitech driver Scott Kin Lindblom.
Starting from the back of the grid is not optimal, but good practice it is. I kept my head down, focused and used my speed and racecraft. I set 4th fastest lap in the same time as overtaking one by one, Scott says after gaining 24 positions in the race.

Starting absolutely last on the 38 cars strong grid Scott Kin Lindblom gained 15 positions on the first lap, and kept his foot down.
Saturday morning qualification rounds for race 1 and 2 saw Scott Kin Lindblom claiming P4 and P5, but the lap times were later disallowed for technical reasons.
It’s racing, sometimes things happens and you just need to deal with it, Scott says.

Scott Kin Lindblom storming through the field did not go unnoticed:
Scott Kin Lindblom is cutting through the field like a hot knife through cheese, the live TV-commentator said.
