GAME ON! Premiere race weekend in the British F4 Championship!
15-year old Swedish racing talent Scott Kin Lindblom is set to take a major step in his career this weekend as he makes his highly anticipated debut in the British F4 Championship. The young Red Bull Junior and Hitech driver is ready for the season opener that takes place at the iconic Donington Park, a circuit renowned for its fast, flowing sections and technical challenges.
Following an intensive pre-season of testing and preparation, Lindblom now enters one of the world’s most competitive junior single-seater categories. The championship has long served as a proven pathway for future stars of international motorsport, making this debut a key milestone in the young Swede’s development.
– I’m incredibly excited to make my debut in British F4. Donington is a track I really enjoy – it’s fast, demanding, and requires precision. The goal this weekend is to build experience, develop with every session, and take away as much as possible for the rest of the season,” says Scott Kin Lindblom.
The weekend kicks off with practice and qualifying before three races decide the opening round. With a highly competitive grid and limited experience in the category, the focus will be on learning – but the ambition to challenge from the outset is clear.
– My main objective this season is to try and fight in the top, it´s a 30 race long season, Scott says.
A twist is the reversed grid in race 2, and also added extra points for overtaking in race 2.
Scott Kin Lindblom has raced in a few F4 winter series in the Middle East during the winter.
– There are some small differences now, firstly most of the british tracks are a bit narrower, and secondly the brakes of the car is a bit different, but overall I´m quite used to the car by now, Scott says.
The debut at Donington Park marks the first chapter in what promises to be an exciting season for Scott Kin Lindblom – and an important step toward an international racing career.
