Scott in the top tier at Ginetta Test Day at Snetterton, UK

A full test day at Snettertons 300 circuit, located close to Norwich, UK, starts the ”summer holidays” for 14 year old Scott Kin Lindblom. School ended last week, and today he is behind the wheel of the R-Racing Ginetta, pushing for the best lap times on the demanding track.

”It´s 27 degrees celsius and the 3 mile (4,8 km) long track is hard on the tires, but it´s good practice. Snetterton is a technical track where one small mistake will cost you a lot of time”, says Scott Kin Lindblom, who set second fastest lap time in the first round.

During the day six 30-minute test rounds with various run plans were executed, with Scott fastest in the ones simulating FP2 and Quali, and second in the rest.

”I have been working with my driver coach Colin Turkington to find the details that will make me faster, and it seems to be working out as planned”, says Scott Kin Lindblom.

”The speed is definately there, and it´s been a very fun day at the track”, says Scott.

Next race weekend in the British Ginetta Junior Championship is at Snetterton, 12-13 of July, which unfortunately collides with the third round of Ginetta Nordic at Falkenberg, Sweden. Scott will race at Snetterton.
