P2, P6 and P4 at Snetterton

Scott Kin Lindblom keeps his momentum in the British F4 Championship by Wera Tools.
Strong driving during the weekend sees him finishing P2, P6 and P4 and keeping third position in the championship standings.
– A bit of a shame that race 3 was shortened from 25 to 12 minutes after a red flag incident, the car felt really good and I think we could have managed more, Scott says.

Race 1.
Starting from P2 in Race 1, Scott held his position through two safety car restarts and defended strongly throughout the race to secure second place at the flag.
– Pretty straightforward race, started P2 and finished P2, Scott said.

The podium result lifted Scott to third in the championship standings on 60 points, closing the gap to second place.

Race 2
Sundays morning race featured a reverse-grid format, with Scott starting from P8. On a challenging and narrow circuit where overtaking opportunities are limited, he managed to make two positions and crossed the line in P6.
– The track is quite narrow so overtaking is always a risk. Happy with adding points but want more, Scott commented.

Race 3
In Sunday’s final race, Scott started from fifth and immediately gained a position with a move into P4 on the opening lap. Following an early incident and a safety car period, turning into a red flag and restart, Scott maintained fourth place and the remainder of the race. The race was shortened by the race directors, reducing the running time from 25 to 12 minutes.

– I got some really nice overtaking done here. Just a bit of a shame that the race was shoterned since the car felt really good. A big thank you to the team and everyone who is supporting me on this journey, Scott said.

With a podium and consistent points finishes across all three races, Scott leaves the weekend firmly in the fight at the top of the British F4 Championship standings.

Next up is Silverstone next weekend. Do not miss it!
