Ready for iconic Silverstone

Following another strong weekend in the Wera Tools British F4 Championship, Scott Kin Lindblom now heads to one of motorsport’s most legendary venues – the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit.

The 15-year-old Red Bull Junior driver arrives at the weekend sitting third in the championship standings after another solid points haul.

– I’m really looking forward to Silverstone. It’s a fast and technical circuit that demands a lot of confidence behind the wheel. You need to be precise in every corner while still pushing hard, says Scott.

Silverstone is one of the most famous racetracks in the world and is widely regarded as the home of British motorsport. Originally built on a former World War II airfield, the circuit hosted the very first Formula 1 World Championship race back in 1950. Since then, legendary drivers and teams have written motorsport history on the fast and demanding Northamptonshire circuit.

The Grand Prix layout stretches over 5.8 kilometres and is renowned for its high-speed flowing sections. Corners such as Maggotts, Becketts and Chapel are among the most challenging in international racing, placing huge demands on both car balance and driver precision.

– Silverstone is all about rhythm and commitment. There are several high-speed corners where you have to fully trust the car and really hook everything up. At the same time, the competition is incredibly tough, so qualifying will be extremely important, says Scott.

An important weekend for the title fight

The British F4 weekend marks the fourth round of the season and another key step in the championship battle, where every point will matter.

– We’ve taken some big steps forward over the last few weekends and the feeling in the car keeps improving. Now we want to continue building momentum and fight at the front throughout the entire weekend, concludes Scott.
