Double Podium at Zandvoort

Scott Kin Lindblom, Red Bull Junior and Hitech driver, continued his impressive British F4 Championship certified by Wera Tools campaign with another highly competitive weekend at Zandvoort, leaving the Dutch circuit with two podium finishes, a top-five result and valuable championship points.

The Swedish Red Bull Junior laid the foundation with an excellent qualifying performance, securing second on the grid for the weekends main race.

Lindblom converted that pace into a third place in Race 1 and then a fifth place from starting P11 in the reverse-grid contest, and finsihed the weekend off with a second-place finish in the feature race. The races featured several Safety Car interruptions, limiting opportunities to build a rhythm and making every restart critical.

– It has been a really good weekend, said Scott Kin Lindblom.
– We had the pace to fight at the front all weekend and scored strong points. The racing was quite tough, with several Safety Cars and close battles in every race. Nothing came easy, Scott says.

Throughout the weekend, Lindblom found himself wheel-to-wheel with some of the championship's most highly rated drivers, including Jeff-Hall and Dries Van Langendonck. The trio traded positions and fought intensely across all three races in a series of clean but uncompromising battles.

– We had some good fights, but everyone raced hard and fair. To come away with two podiums and a strong points haul feels like a great reward for the team's work, Scott says.

There is little time to celebrate. Early monday morning Lindblom heads straight to the Red Bull Racing Technology Campus in Milton Keynes, where he will spend the day in the team's simulator as part of his ongoing Red Bull Junior Programme development.

From there, he will travel directly to France to follow the latest round of the FIA Formula Regional European Championship (FREC), continuing to gain experience at the highest levels of junior single-seater racing.

With another productive weekend completed, Lindblom continues to build momentum in his rookie British F4 campaign while strengthening his position in the championship.
